KNN
Hello? For some unknown, reason I feel so KNN these 2 days.
For a start, an ex-colleague of mine message to meet up cos one of his friend whom I met before have some questions on insurance. Emm, I was thinking, emm, got case coming... Great! So I took a cab down to Bugis (was late cos was watching S.W.A.T on TV) and met up with the guy first. Guess what, he told me that he brought policy from a lady agent from Prudential last month and found out that what he had brought was not the same as what the lady had told her. He brought a PAA plan and was told that the insurance coverage was "free". I was like emm, why didn't you buy from me or call me for opinion since you know I am with Prudential also. O.k, relax and be composed. I told him about the plan and the charges to cover the insurance coverage. He asked for my opinion on what to do next and asked if he can transfer the plan to me. I told him I have no money to make even if he transfer to me and asked him how he know the ger. Guess what, she was introduced by a friend, emm, relax, relax.... I also intro to him what... but why?... Anyway, to keep it short I told him that it is no point transferring the plan to me, if he is not happy with the plan, he should either cancelled it or just continue and told him it is not a bad plan anyway.... KNN!
This morning, I woke up very early to go to work. I was at the bus-stop waiting for the bus to Kovan MRT to take the company bus. It was 6:40 am when I was at the bus-stop and guess what the bus came at 7:02 am. KNN! I was very lucky that the company bus was able to left when I get down the bus and managed to board it in time. KNN!
I hate working for people. Why? Cos I am like a wild animal, I cannot be tamed to follow instructions and always have a mind of my own. And in this company that I am working in, there are a lot of KNN people who tried to tell me what to do... ya, so who's instruction do I follow? Why not non at all? I do it my way since I am responsible for my actions and but they are not responsible if I follow their instructions and something cropped up. KNN!
I spent the whole morning shooting e-mails to all the KNN people, asking for the status of my reports and also updates on some outstanding issues. Ya, I am sure these people got excuses why they cannot reply or pass me the reports. They are busy with the production, ya... but I am prepared. If they told me that then I gonna tell my KNN GM that these people are managers so ain't they supposed to delegate people to manage their jobs so if they cannot delegate what for they become managers! KNN!
By the way, my KNN GM is a retired colonel from the airforce, this morning bumped into him during my plant inspection and he beckoned me to go over. The next thing he told me give me a surprise, he told me that there is something wrong with my phone or the network as he had called me several times but cannot get through. I checked the number on his PDA phone and it was correct. He asked me what phone company and I told him Singtel and he proceed to scrutinise me by telling me that Singtel network got problem despite me telling him that my reception if at full scale. Been a retired civil servant, he dun think he is wrong and kept insisting that my phone or network is at fault and expect me to do something about it. I think most prob is his PDA phone got problem and not my good old faithful NOKIA 6110. KNN!
O.k, finally the day is over and time to go home. emm, 10 metres from the gantry so I unclipped my pass to standby to tap the gantry to get out. Guess what, when I was less than 5 metres from the gantry, the security IC beckoned me over and asked me what was written behind the pass, I told the pass out and pretend to read it. He then told me that he is going to book me cos I never display my pass properly and it is the company's policy that pass had to be displayed when inside the premises. I told him I was near the gantry which is why I removed the pass to standby. He insisted that he was right so I told him to take down whatever info he wants, I am not going to waste my time to argue with him as I have a bus to catch. It occurs to me that in the current society in Singapore, a lot of people are just trying to show they are doing their job by fulfilling the requirements at certain times of the day and relaxed for the rest. Just to show the management that they are working by booking a few people. KNN to this people. I will make sure I do something about it tomorrow...
KNN day, so going to sleep now! emm................. I will revert back to my normal sleeping position, maybe sleeping with the face facing the door is really bad luck.. nites...
