Merry Christmas and Happy New Year?

Ho Ho Ho! Christmas is here and the new year is just near the corner. I wish everyone a merry christmas and a very happy new year!

What Have I been Doing?

For a start, I had not gone back to the agency for more than a week now and people actually notice that and started to call me. I would like to thank all these people for their concern. Well, so why did I not go back? Emm, I think it is down to 2 main reasons, mainly I do not want to face all my ever supporting colleagues as I had disappointed them over and over again. Somehow, I am not been able to pick myself up from my existing problems and concentrate on my sales. Secondly, the financial strain had finally taken its toll, I can no longer afford to move around much anymore.

Seriously I dunno what to say in my blog cos there are just too many things to write down, so as a summary, I've written then in point form:

1. Goldfish died last nite after struggling against a fish disease for almost a month. God Bless His Poor Soul!

2. Was at queue in Singapore Post Centre on Sunday to post some last minute items, really long queue so decided to SMS all the contacts in my phone to wish them merry christmas. I figure that most of my friends and contacts are from the "J" and "L", not to mention the 7 jennys I had in my contact. Total SMS send out : 120 Replied: 40 Guess most of them are away.

3. Weird calls and SMS. Got a call from not so close ex-colleague of mine, he is an indian dispatch rider for my ex-company who is in his 50s. I was really really surprised that he called me to ask me how I am and wish me merry christmas. He is a very simple man with a large family to feed. Emm, maybe sometime people does remember the small and seemingly insignificant things that you had done for them. On the SMS, I had been receiving greeting from numbers that I dun have in my contact and when I SMSed them back, there was no reply. Weird!

4. Christmas Eve - I was so darn bore on christmas eve and did not have a chance to go out as I had a very bad arguement with my closet pal. I dun really feel bad about it as I think I had done my part as a friend for the past 17 years we known each other and emm, it is time I finally blown up by his negtaive attitude towards everything in life. Emm, finally at about 9:30 pm, one of my Malaysian friend who is in singapore for shopping called me, went down to Tanglin Halt and had a good drink and chat with him till 3 am. Ta bao 5 chicken wings home and eat before I hit the sack...

5. Church service - I promised one of my colleague that I will attend his church service this morning but emm, the drink got the better of me and I woke up at 11 pm. Only to realise that he had called and smsed me several time until the battery is flat. Did not hear the phone as it was left in the living room.. sorry eugene...

6. Of Naive Young Ger - There was this little "cute" ger from my agency who seems to have a lot o problems at her young tender age. Mostly relationship problems., I have been like talking to her and telling her that it ain't such a big deal. Ya, maybe to love someone take guts as they say no guts no glory... emm, but at such a age and so naive in thinking.. I just wish that she straighten her thoughts out soon and get one with the better thing in life. Life is still a very long way to go. And oh yes, I hope that you cut down on your smoking in the new year!

7. New Year Resolution - Emm I ain't going to make any as I never followed them closely...

8. PSP - I just got a new psp and still figuring out how to use it... Quite shoik considering that you can play game, watch movie and listen to music with it. Also comes with a Wi-Fi function. Daniel, maybe you should consider buying one to join the gang.

That's all I have for the moment. Take care and have a great year ahead...

Next expected blogging: 2 to 3 weeks time pending any significant events.

Living in Oblivion

THIS WAS ORIGINALLY WRITTEN ON 14TH DEC BUT SOMEHOW IT DID NOT SHOWN UP.

Everyone have been asking me why I have not updated my Blog for quite a while and my answer is simply "there is nothing interesting to blog about". Yes, it is actually an excuse to cover my laziness... I am really lazy for those people who don't know me well. My favourite pastime? Do nothing and see time passed by and oh yes, time has really passed, it is now coming to the end of 2006. So what have I been doing? Living in oblivion of course.

O.k, let me start with some interesting stuff!

Credit cards - emm, for those who knows me, they will know that I am seriously in debts, although $40K may not seem to be alot but I had been taking forever to reduce or even pay off the sum without much like making a dent in it. Oh well, try harder I suppose. Last 3 or 4 months had been real tough for me, I quit my secure job to settle into a more challenging job... which I had to say, I enjoyed it thoroughly. Nowadays, banks had been cold-calling or canvassing people to sign up for more cards and it seems so easily to get a card nowadays. I never refuse anyone who asked me to sign up for a card as I always assumed that it will not be successful taking in account my current situation. But guess what, recently I signed up through a telemarketer with UOB Bank and guess what, I was given approval for not one, not two, not even three but I was given 4 different VISA gold cards... wow!!! So much for the credit bureau thing where banks were suppose to check the financial status of the person before granting approval. And guess what comes with the cards? There is a brochure from moneysense which tell people not to treat credit card like a normal ATM card as it is advanced money and not your own... well said but emm, will anyone even read it. And yes, I received a call from CitiBank this morning, informing me that my application for the SMRT-CitiBank Visa is approved and I can collect my card from their branch in VivoCity... one more card.... the devil is now standing next to me urging me to spend, spend and spend... emm but nowadays with all those temptations and sales and instalments schemes, not to mention pressure from the missies/friends/peers.. people would tense to look into their current comfort and safeguard their pride first before even considering about the future... Guess that is how the way life goes on nowadays, people dun think so far anymore, can enjoy, enjoy first...

Sweet Young Things (SYT) - Dunno why but recently there seems to be a lot of sweet young things (young gers) wherever I go.. most of them are dressed skimily, which what me and my good friend called "cock-teaser", can see but cannot touch.. Somehow I began to fantasize having fun with them, sound very crude but emm, it happens, especially when I am at the peak of my sexual maturity... emm, better stopped thinking or I will become a dirty old man... hahaha

Fishes - I kept fishes at home not because I liked them but rather I believe that they helped me to block all the unlucky things but dying for me.. They used to say only arowana (Kim Leng) have such mystical instincts. My brother used to have one when he was still staying in camp but one day, he nearly met with a serious accident and guess what, when he reach his bunk, true enough, his arowana had died... strange but seemingly real.. For me, I think all my fishes that died suddenly are meant to help me block off bad luck... my luohans, catfish, goldfish, had all died under mysterious circumstances.. emm, anyway, so much for me and my beliefs..

Sleeping - I have not been sleeping well lately, maybe it is becos the stress is adding up, not to mention about all the strange dreams that I had over the past weeks... dunno what to do but emm hope I can sleep better tonight since that it is friday already...

O.k, I believe I had spoken enough, so for those people who read my blog and complained I never update... pls read and give your comments...
